I’ve found the old adage, “When the student is ready, the teacher appears.” to be wholly true in my life. Such was the case when I discovered a yoga book on my family’s bookshelf. Piqued with interest, I devoured it, reading it from cover to cover and twisting my body into every pose in the book that I possibly could. This was the beginning of my yoga journey. Just me, the book and my living room floor.
It wasn’t long after I found the book that I began studying yoga philosophy and practicing meditation. Looking back, it has been an extraordinary, exciting and rewarding journey. And I know I’m just getting started. Today, I’m elated to share my love for yoga with others by teaching. So please come join me!
My classes tend to be therapeutic in nature and are ideal for beginners. Each class focuses on coordinating breath with movement in order to calm the mind, create more energy and guide us into a peaceful, meditative state. With each class, my goal is to help you discover a healthier, happier, more peaceful, loving you!
Anietie received her 200 hour Yoga Alliance certification through Ricky Tran’s Krama Yoga Teacher Training program. She’s also a certified laughter yoga leader and a Reiki Level II healing practitioner, trained in Usui Reiki by Holli Blackwell of Quantum Visions.
